WhatsApp stickers owned by Facebook can be shared with friends and family to make communication more interesting and user-friendly. Recently, WhatsApp launched a new feature that allows users to create personalized stickers natively on the WhatsApp web platform.

In its latest development, the instant messaging app added “Sticker Maker” to convert any photo into WhatsApp stickers. Users won’t have to depend on third-party apps for more options. You must be wondering how does this new feature work?

Well, the new feature doesn’t turn your image into a caricature but compresses the file into a low-res sticker. The new stickers function can create personalized stickers conveniently, easy to send and download.

Here is how to convert your photo to WhatsApp sticker

You must have the latest version of WhatsApp to use the new sticker feature. You also need to save the images you want to convert to stickers. If you are planning to make your own personal WhatsApp sticker for an occasion or birthday, follow these steps.

Step 1: Open your WhatsApp website and go to any chat window. Tap Attachments and select stickers.

2nd step: The file explorer window will open. Now you need to select an image which you want to convert to WhatsApp sticker.

Step 3: you can adjust the corners, crop the image, add text and emojis, and make changes to the stickers. Tap Send arrow.

Note that this feature has not yet arrived on the WhatsApp application for Android and iOS. This feature will be useful for users who frequently send text messages from the desktop.
