Patch 1.4 for Dying Light 2 adds the long-awaited photo mode, as well as the first free DLC narrative chapter. Which includes special gear for the Night Fugitive

The long-awaited (and long-awaited) photo mode has arrived in the parkour-flavored game Dying Light 2. Update 1.4 for Dying Light 2 adds a photo mode that lets you create your own action-packed screenshots, as well as the first part of Dying Light 2’s free narrative DLC. The update will be released on June 14.

In Night Runner’s Footsteps, you’ll meet Harper, a former Night Runner who needs your help to eliminate the Special Infected that threaten the townspeople.

As you complete Harper’s missions, you will earn reputation points which will allow you to unlock powerful new weapons, consumables and outfits. Harper is in the Fisheye dining room.

Photo mode in Dying Light 2 has the usual set of options: you can freely move the camera around your character and adjust the zoom, focal length and depth of field of the lens. There is also a selection of filters, styles, video frames and other ways to enhance the final image before pressing F12.

In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner also introduces new enemies: Infected Mutant, Erratic Tyrant, and Erratic Hive to face in Harper’s missions.

Additionally, the game has a new daily and weekly task system that sends you to complete difficult tasks at night in order to earn extra reputation points with Harper.

You can also purchase special Chapter Mission Tickets from Harper that will test your stealth, parkour, and combat skills in a series of time trials.

Nightrunner’s Footsteps also adds new enemies: Harper’s missions have a modified victim, an unstable tyrant, and an unstable hive to compete against.

To work it even further, there’s a new daily and weekly reward system that will send you at night to complete challenging activities for extra fame points with Harper.
