John Cena Shares Photo of WWE’s Best Heel Ahead of Raw Comeback E! News UK

The last Monday of John Cena Appreciation Month is upon us, and John Cena himself is finally returning to WWE television.

Cena is set to appear on tonight’s episode of “WWE Raw,” after WWE celebrated 20 years of career throughout the month. Cena took to Instagram to share a photo of Seth Rollins from “Raw,” and like all of Cena’s posts, the photo doesn’t have a caption.

Cena has been going back and forth on social media with WWE United States Champion Austin Theory lately, with SummerSlam being considered a possible date for the two to face off. Rollins and Cena were notably vying for the WWE United States Championship during Cena’s long run as champion in 2015. Rollins briefly snatched the title from Cena at SummerSlam that year, before Cena won the title. title in September.

Cena hasn’t wrestled for WWE since a dark match after the September 10 edition of “WWE Smackdown” where Cena teamed with Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio to defeat Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Roman Reigns in the famous arena. from Madison Square Garden. Cena hasn’t had a televised match since SummerSlam 2021, where he lost to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event.

Rollins has been a constant presence on WWE television but is currently without the proverbial dance partner as rival Cody Rhodes recovers from surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle.

Cena is only announced for tonight’s “WWE Raw,” and it’s unclear what plans, if any, are in place for the multiple-time world champion. The word is that the roster is thrilled to have Cena join them, as many see him as a locker room leader.
