It all started after Jessa shared a photo of 6-year-old Spurgeon doing her homework on a desk behind a huge houseplant.
Jessa captioned it: “Too cool for school.”
Also in the blink of an eye, a ton of Legos are on the floor along with other toys, which some people decided to focus on.
The post was also shared on Reddit where Jessa’s house was slammed in the comments section as one person wrote, “This room is a mess.”
Another added: “…everyone knows kids are messy. But JFC does a little clean up before posting on Instagram. I’d be mortified if anyone thought I was living in a pigsty.”
While one replied: ‘I’ll never understand why she doesn’t toss all that rubbish and mess in a damn shopping bag and remove it from the picture before posting to hundreds of thousands of people. ‘subscribers.’
Besides Spurgeon, the former reality TV star also shares son Henry, four, and daughters Ivy, two, and Fern, five months, with husband Ben Seewald.
“THE REAL LIFE”
This isn’t the first time fans have focused on Jessa’s cleaning habits as in early 2020 she shared a house tour video on YouTube where some noted that the former television had not tidied up before filming.
The clip – which earned him praise from a few fans for keeping it “real” – featured unmade beds, non-flushing toilets and strewn toys.
However, Jessa also didn’t ignore the mess, as she remarked, “It’s our messy house.”
She added, “We’ll take another tour of the house when it’s cleaned up. First we’ll do a real messy house.”
The visit began in the kitchen, where there were boxes on the floor and clothes hanging on kitchen chairs to dry.
Toy cars and books were all over the living room, the bed was without sheets, and the toilet was full of paper that one of the star’s children had put there.
Months later, the 29-year-old shared a video about “organizing”.
JESSA COMES BACK
Jessa hasn’t ignored some of the criticism either, as she recently clapped back at a troll.
After sharing a video of ongoing renovations to their new three-bedroom home, one person claimed the residence was a “gift” from his father, Jim Bob.
Jessa quickly replied, “That’s so stupid and an outright lie,” leading fans to praise the 19 Kids & Counting alum for standing up for herself.
