Disappeared in Georgia | Quinton Simon, 20 months, new photo
Quinton Simon has been missing since 6 a.m. Wednesday
CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities have released a new photo of a 20-month-old child who went missing from Chatham County.
Quinton Simon has been missing since 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office. He was last seen at his home along Burkhalter Road wearing a light blue Sesame Street shirt and black trousers.
Deputies conducted a drone and K-9 search, and even closed roads in hopes of locating the child, according to the sheriff’s office. Several other law enforcement agencies are now involved and have participated in the grid searches.
Authorities used a helicopter with heat-seeking technology, but were unable to find Quinton. He’s been missing for over 24 hours.
The sheriff’s office said it did not issue an Amber Alert because there was no evidence the child had been abducted, but is still vehemently searching for the toddler.
“We know that the disappearance of this child has hurt many hearts, and we know that thousands of people are hoping and praying for his safe recovery. We promise that we will update you as soon as we hear from you.” , the sheriff’s office said.
Anyone with information about the case should call 911.
