Anna, daughter of Peter Gabriel, releases a photo book full of celebrities

Anne-Gabriel, Pierre-Gabrielthe eldest daughter of, will publish a photo book titled Eye-D on October 6, which features close-up images of the eyes of dozens of famous musical artists and other celebrities, including her father.

Among the many other stars who appear in the book are Debbie Harry, Sting, Mick Fleetwood, Annie Lennox, Paul Simonthe end Tom Small, U2it is The edge, Michael Stipe, Robert Plante, Graham Nash and Nil Rodgers.

“I wanted to give fans a different way to see their favorite artists, people who impacted not just my life, but millions of people around the world,” Anna says of the book. “I hope viewers find something new and unexpected every time they look into those eyes. From filming longtime friend Michael Stipe in his apartment, to Annie Lennox in a bedroom hotel in New York, via Johnny Depp behind the scenes of a show – I have lots of stories that go with the photos.

To celebrate the publication of the book, the Morrison Hotel Gallery locations in Los Angles and New York will host photo exhibitions of Anna on October 6 and October 20, respectively.

Before the LA exhibit opens, a book signing will take place from 4-6 p.m. PT that will also feature a special musical performance.

Meanwhile, on October 20, Anna and her father will appear in conversation at the Rizzoli Bookstore at 6 p.m. ET.

As well as being an accomplished photographer, Anna is a video director whose credits include the 2004 documentary about Peter Gabriel Growing up on tour: a family portraitand his concert films Always growing and To take the pulse.
